I have developed an interactive lesson plan on Parallelogram and Its Properties for Class VIII, incorporating storytelling, activity-based learning, gamification, and constructivist approaches. The plan includes a storytelling session, The Parallelogram Family, which introduces the concept and highlights special cases like rectangle, rhombus, and square. The lesson features a tilting parallelogram model that illustrates key properties, such as equal opposite sides and angles, allowing students to visualize and understand the concept better. A game named Bingo was administered, reinforce the properties of parallelogram and promote logical thinking. The activities are designed to promote understanding, logical thinking, and engagement. Students learn to identify parallelograms, state their properties, and verify them using models.
