World Environment Day Celebrations 2025: Talk on "END PLASTIC POLLUTION" - June 05, 2025


The IQAC and National Service Scheme (NSS) celebrated World Environment Day at the college on June 5, 2025, at 10 am. Dr. Mumtas S., Assistant Professor and NSS Programme Officer, led the event and spoke about "End Plastic Pollution", highlighting the harmful effects of plastic on the environment and ecosystem. She stressed the importance of teachers and students working together to promote civic sense and environmental protection. Arya A.R. delivered a vote of thanks. The programme wrapped up at 11:30 am .

  An Online talk series on "Cases and Causes that Truly Matter" the free voice was organised by Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara, on August 2nd,2024, at 6:30 PM. The session was very insightful, focusing on the memoirs of special education, and was led by Dr. Anu Mukund, a lecturer in English at the National Institute of Speech and Hearing, Thiruvananthapuram.

COMATICS: Commerce & Mathematics Association Inauguration 2K24

 COMEX and NUMINA, the Commerce and Mathematics Associations of Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara, jointly launched 'COMATICS 2K24' on October 2024 at the College Auditorium.  The event started with a prayer song by the college choir, followed by a warm welcome by Ms. Aiswarya M., Mathematics Association Secretary. Dr. Renginy K.R., Commerce teacher-in-charge, presided over the session. The principal, Dr. Alie Molly Verghis, inaugurated both associations, highlighting maths' universal relevance and commerce's daily impact. She praised the joint inauguration, showcasing maths' correlation with other subjects. The programme featured a logo reveal for NUMINA and felicitations from college union leaders.
