75TH Constitution Day Celebration 2024 - November 26, 2024

The 75th Constitution Day celebrations were jointly organized by the National Service Scheme and Sophists Social Science Associations at Peet Memorial Training College on November 26, 2024, at 10 am. The event began with the college prayer song and NSS anthem, followed by a welcome speech by Arya A.R., NSS student coordinator. The highlight of the event was a special talk on "Constitution of India in the 21st Century" by Mr. Joyal Joseph, a first-semester B.Ed. Social Science student. He discussed the evolution, features, and challenges of the Constitution. Mr. Unni M., Social Science Lecturer, delivered a felicitation, and Ms Sinu Sam proposed a vote of thanks. The programme concluded at 10:50 am.

Oath Taking Ceremony for Dhuthi (ദ്യുതി) College Union 2024-2025

 The Oath Taking Ceremony of the newly elected office bearers of the Dhuthi College Union, Peet Memorial Training College, was held on November 7, 2024, at 10:30 am in the College Auditorium. Dr Sony Mary Varghese, Assistant Professor and Union Advisor, delivered the introductory address and announced the newly elected members of the College Union. Mr Sefon Sanu Mathew was sworn in as Chairman of the College Union by Dr Alie Molly Verghis, College Principal. The oath of office for other office bearers was administered by Mr Sefon Sanu Mathew. Seven office bearers, including the Chairman, took the oath in the name of God, while eight took affirmation. Dr Alie Molly Verghis delivered the keynote address and felicitated the newly elected office bearers. Dr Elizabeth Joshua and Mr Tony Cherian also addressed the gathering. College Union Keralapiravi Celebration 2024

 The College Union of Peet Memorial Training College organized its inaugural programme on November 4, 2024, at 2:15 pm as part of the Keralapiravi celebrations. The event featured a Nadanpatt Competition, showcasing traditional folk songs. Participants from six options, with 3-7 students in each team, presented a diverse range of songs. The competition was judged by Dr Mumtas S, Dr Velayudhan T Nair, and Unni M. The results were as follows: - First Prize: Team English - Second Prize: Team Mathematics - Third Prize: Team Social Science The prizes were distributed following the announcement of the results.

SOPHISTS Social Science Association Inauguration 2024 and Keralapiravi Celebrations - November 04, 2024

 The Inauguration of the SOPHISTS Social Science Association and Keralapiravi Celebration took place on November 4, 2024, at 11:00 am at the College Auditorium. The event was presided over by Unni M, Social Science Option Faculty and President of SOPHISTS Social Science Association. The inaugural session was conducted by Rev. C.I. Jose, Vicar of CSI Christ Church, Mavelikara, who delivered a keynote address. During the event, Rev. C.I. Jose unveiled the official logo of the SOPHISTS Social Science Association. Mr John Anil presented an overview of the SOPHISTS association, explaining its meaning and significance. Felicitations were delivered by Dr Mumtas S, Principal-in-Charge and NSS Programme Co-ordinator, and Ms Vismaya Vinod. Ms Haritha Raju, Secretary of the SOPHISTS Social Science Association, extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests. The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr Meril Iype Shaji at 11:50 am.

Weekly Assembly 2024 - November 04, 2024

  The Weekly Assembly of Peet Memorial Training College was conducted on November 4, 2024, at 10:00 am. The event commenced with the College Prayer Song, 'Lead, Kindly Light...', followed by the National Pledge, recited by Ms Aswani L. Inspirational quotes from the Holy Bible, Bhagwat Geeta, and the Holy Quran were recited by Mr Meril Iype Shaji, Ms Sinu Sam, and Ms Shafina Kabir, respectively. The thought for the day was presented by Ms Sruthy M Nair, who delivered a speech on Swami Vivekananda. This was followed by a book review of 'Chindambarasmaranakal', a collection of poems by Balachandra Chullikkad, presented by Mr John Anil. Ms Lintu Mohan presented the daily news based on Malayalam newspapers, and Ms Haritha Raju read the campus news. A quiz on General Knowledge and fairy tales was conducted by Ms Maya M and Mr Joyal Joseph. The assembly was hosted by Ms Roshna Sabu and concluded at 10:50 am.
