College Union Keralapiravi Celebration 2024

 The College Union of Peet Memorial Training College organized its inaugural programme on November 4, 2024, at 2:15 pm as part of the Keralapiravi celebrations. The event featured a Nadanpatt Competition, showcasing traditional folk songs. Participants from six options, with 3-7 students in each team, presented a diverse range of songs.


The competition was judged by Dr Mumtas S, Dr Velayudhan T Nair, and Unni M. The results were as follows:

- First Prize: Team English

- Second Prize: Team Mathematics

- Third Prize: Team Social Science


The prizes were distributed following the announcement of the results.

  The inauguration ceremony of the B.Ed. Course 2024-2026 was held at Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara, on 29th July 2024, with a lamp-lighting ceremony by former Principal Dr. Jiby George, setting the tone for the event. Rev. C.I. Jose delivered the presidential address, followed by Principal Alie Mollie Verghis introducing the B.Ed. programme. Ms. Archana B, an alumni and Communicative English Trainer, spoke on "Fluent Futures Communicative English". Aji M, Josekutty, and Sangeeth S Kini offered felicitations, and Parvathy K Pillai proposed a vote of thanks, wrapping up the ceremony that began at 10:30 am.

  An Online talk series on "Cases and Causes that Truly Matter" the free voice was organised by Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara, on August 2nd,2024, at 6:30 PM. The session was very insightful, focusing on the memoirs of special education, and was led by Dr. Anu Mukund, a lecturer in English at the National Institute of Speech and Hearing, Thiruvananthapuram.

COMATICS: Commerce & Mathematics Association Inauguration 2K24

 COMEX and NUMINA, the Commerce and Mathematics Associations of Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara, jointly launched 'COMATICS 2K24' on October 2024 at the College Auditorium.  The event started with a prayer song by the college choir, followed by a warm welcome by Ms. Aiswarya M., Mathematics Association Secretary. Dr. Renginy K.R., Commerce teacher-in-charge, presided over the session. The principal, Dr. Alie Molly Verghis, inaugurated both associations, highlighting maths' universal relevance and commerce's daily impact. She praised the joint inauguration, showcasing maths' correlation with other subjects. The programme featured a logo reveal for NUMINA and felicitations from college union leaders.
