TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 1: Week 8 ( 29/9/25 - 4/10/25)

 Week 8 of my teaching practice was a blend of substitution classes, revision sessions, and assessments. I managed attendance, prayers, teaching, and exams while staying punctual and organized. A highlight was using gamification (points, badges, rewards) in a lesson on Solutions of Equations, making the class lively and motivating students to participate actively. I also dedicated a full day to revising three chapters: Square Identities, Polygons and Solutions of Equations summarizing concepts, clearing doubts, and encouraging independent problem-solving. Students showed growing interest in mathematics, sharing their own methods and applying prior knowledge effectively. I conducted an achievement test after an 8-day holiday, giving clear instructions and extra time, and emphasized patience, observation, and fairness in evaluation. Post-exam, students expressed confidence, which boosted my morale and highlighted their progress, strengths, and areas for improvement. Managing the exam independently gave me a strong sense of responsibility and professional growth. Moving forward, I aim to continue blending interactive activities with systematic revision, focus on individualized feedback, and reflect on student confidence to fine-tune my teaching strategies.

Course 2024-2026 was held at Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara, on 29th July 2024, with a lamp-lighting ceremony by former Principal Dr. Jiby George, setting the tone for the event. Rev.   An Online talk series on "Cases and Causes that Truly Matter" the free voice was organised by Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara, on August 2nd,2024, at 6:30 PM. The session was very insightful, focusing on the memoirs of special education, and was led by Dr. Anu Mukund, a lecturer in English at the National Institute of Speech and Hearing, Thiruvananthapuram.

COMATICS: Commerce & Mathematics Association Inauguration 2K24

 COMEX and NUMINA, the Commerce and Mathematics Associations of Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara, jointly launched 'COMATICS 2K24' on October 2024 at the College Auditorium.  The event started with a prayer song by the college choir, followed by a warm welcome by Ms. Aiswarya M., Mathematics Association Secretary. Dr. Renginy K.R., Commerce teacher-in-charge, presided over the session. The principal, Dr. Alie Molly Verghis, inaugurated both associations, highlighting maths' universal relevance and commerce's daily impact. She praised the joint inauguration, showcasing maths' correlation with other subjects. The programme featured a logo reveal for NUMINA and felicitations from college union leaders.
