INNOVATIVE WORK Sem3
I have created an interactive teaching tool to help Class VIII students grasp the concept of exterior angles of polygons. The working model demonstrates the theorem: "The sum of exterior angles of any polygon is 360°". A bird holds a board displaying the theorem, and movable cut-out pieces (tied with threads) represent the exterior angles of triangles, quadrilaterals, and pentagons. When arranged in a circle, these angles form a complete 360° angle, visually proving the theorem. To use the model, explain the concept of exterior angles, demonstrate with a triangle or polygon, and show how the angles fit into a full circle. Repeat with other polygons to reinforce the concept. This hands-on model helps students understand the exterior-angle sum property intuitively and interactively.
