 The Sophists Social Science Association of Peet Memorial Training College marked United Nations Day on October 24, 2024, with a special lecture at the Natural Science classroom.  Joyal Joseph, Batch Representative designate and Sophists member, delivered an insightful talk on the UN's formation and relevance. Around 40 students attended, with Dr. Alie Molly Verghis, College Principal, in attendance.

 On October 18, 2024, Peet Memorial Training College held elections for the College Union, voting for Vice Chairperson, Arts Club Secretary, and 2 Lady Representatives. The polling took place from 10:30 am to 12:15 pm, followed by counting under the Returning Officer's supervision, with results declared by 12:45 pm. 

 The National Service Scheme Unit of Peet Memorial Training College, in collaboration with St. Thomas Mission Hospital, Kattanom, and St. Thomas Karkithos Cancer Centre, organized a Free Medical Camp on October 18, 2024, at the College Auditorium. Dr Sony Mary Varghese, Assistant Professor, Peet Memorial Training College, presided over the event, which was inaugurated by Shri K.V. Sreekumar, Chairman of Mavelikara Municipality. Mrs Santhi Ajayan, Ward Councilor and Health Standing Committee Chairperson of Mavelikara Municipality, delivered the keynote address, while Mr Biju David, Staff Representative, and others offered felicitations. The medical camp offered free eye testing and cancer screening, with doctors providing valuable insights on cancer symptoms. The event drew a significant turnout, benefiting many. 

 As per the B.Ed. Curriculum, the School Induction Programme was held from 7th October to 14th October 2024. I was allotted to St. John HSS Mattom in Alappuzha District, along with 6 other student teachers.  The School Induction Programme is designed to help new student teachers adjust to their new school environment through a series of events and activities. It's a chance to get familiar with the school's functioning and surroundings, providing valuable info, resources, and motivation to boost professionalism and efficiency.
