Talent Day 2024

 The First Year B.Ed. students rocked the Talent Day on August 29, 2024, at the College Auditorium. A packed house of teachers and students cheered them on as they showcased their awesome cultural talents.

78th Independence Day Celebration 2024

 Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara, celebrated its 78th Independence Day on August 15, 2024, with a flag hoisting ceremony at 9 am. Dr Alie Molly Verghis unfurled the flag and delivered an inspiring speech on the significance of freedom and the role of teachers in nation-building. The celebrations continued with a range of patriotic events, including a pencil drawing competition, quiz competition, patriotic song competition, and group song competition.

"Puthen Prahasanagal" Freshers Day 2024

 Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara, rocked the "Puthen Prahasanagal" Freshers Day 2024!  Held on August 7, 2024, at the College Auditorium, this bash was organised by Prevega College Union 2024. Dr Alie Molly Vergis, Principal, kicked off the session. The day was packed with fun stuff - cultural programmes, ice-breakers, and simple challenges got everyone vibing!  Teachers and students turned up in full force!

Handover of Newspaper and Comic Book Subscriptions to AOMLP School, Mavelikara

 On August 5, 2024, the NSS Unit of Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara, donated newspaper and comic book subscriptions to A O M M LPS, Mavelikara. The event began at 10:30 am with a prayer song by schoolchildren. Rev. C.I. Jose blessed the occasion, and Shri. Varghese Pothen officially opened a reading corner. Senior Assistant Mrs Ruth George Isaac welcomed everyone, followed by a speech from Mrs Beena A., Headmistress of AOMMLPS, Mavelikara. Shri. Varghese Pothen engaged in a lively conversation with students. Dr. Mumthas S., NSS Coordinator and Assistant Professor at PMTC, handed over newspaper subscriptions. Dr. Elizabeth Joshua, Extension Cell Coordinator and Assistant Professor at PMTC, accepted the comic book subscription. The event concluded with benedictions from Dr. Alie Mollie Verghis, Principal, PMTC, and Rev. CI Jose, Bursar, PMTC. PMTC Library Secretary Sri. Sangeeth S. Mini led the vote of thanks. First-year B.Ed. students attended the session. 

Online Seminar " Cases and Causes that Truly Matter"

  An Online talk series on "Cases and Causes that Truly Matter" the free voice was organised by Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara, on August 2nd,2024, at 6:30 PM. The session was very insightful, focusing on the memoirs of special education, and was led by Dr. Anu Mukund, a lecturer in English at the National Institute of Speech and Hearing, Thiruvananthapuram.
